God loves you dearly, and he has called you to be his very own people. May grace and peace be yours from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have all benefited from the rich blessings he brought to us--one gracious blessing after another. [ Greek grace upon grace.]

The apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. The Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders.

Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people.

All of these things are for your benefit. And as God's grace brings more and more people to Christ, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
