Calm

a WORD from God's Book
______________________________________________________________

And Jesus answered, "Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!" Then he stood up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm.

A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.

Hot tempers start fights; a calm, cool spirit keeps the peace.

The one who knows much says little; an understanding person remains calm.

They're like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers-- Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, Serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season.

For the LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song."

Matthew 8:26 Proverbs 12:16 Proverbs 15:18 Proverbs 17:27 Jeremiah 17:8 Zephaniah 3:17

Peace

Remaining calm comes from the Lord who lives within us, not from what's happening around us.
