We don't even have to say anything anymore—you're the message! People come up and tell us how you received us with open arms, how you deserted the dead idols of your old life so you could embrace and serve God, the true God. They marvel at how expectantly you await the arrival of his Son, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescued us from certain doom.
What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.
Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ
Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
Await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.
