Favor

Each time he said, "My gracious favor is all you need.”

So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your spiritual strength comes from God's special favor.

He gives us more and more strength … As the Scriptures say, "God sets himself against the proud, but he shows favor to the humble." [ Prov. 3:34.]

God the Father chose you long ago, and the Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed Jesus Christ and are cleansed by his blood. May you have more and more of God's special favor and wonderful peace.

By God's special favor and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.

Look after each other so that none of you will miss out on the special favor of God.
