So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your spiritual strength comes from God's special favor.

God the Father chose you long ago, and the Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed Jesus Christ and are cleansed by his blood. May you have more and more of God's special favor and wonderful peace.

By God's special favor and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.

All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end.

A total life-change through the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed in his name to all nations--starting from here, from Jerusalem!

Did you think that because he's such a nice God, he'd let you off the hook? Better think this one through from the beginning. God is kind, but he's not soft. In kindness he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.
