Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over…

O GOD, my heart is fixed (steadfast, in the confidence of faith); I will sing, yes, I will sing praises, even with my glory [all the faculties and powers of one created in Your image]!

Who is [such a fool as] to fashion a god or cast a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

Thus they exchanged Him Who was their Glory for the image of an ox that eats grass [they traded their Honor for the image of a calf]

"I can't stand your religious meetings. I'm fed up with your conferences and conventions. I want nothing to do with your religion projects, your pretentious slogans and goals. I want justice—oceans of it. I want fairness—rivers of it. That's what I want. That's all I want

Genesis 1:26 Psalm 108:1 Isaiah 44:10 Psalm 106:20 2 Corinthians 4:4 Amos 5:21

And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man. 1 Cor 15:49
