Promise

What difference does it make whether you shake hands or raise hands? A promise is a promise. What difference does it make if you make your promise inside or outside a house of worship? A promise is a promise. God is present, watching and holding you to account regardless.

Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?

"Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.

Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith.

God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so
we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.

Matthew 23:16 John 11:40 Acts 2:33 Romans 4:13 1 Corinthians 1:9 Galatians 3:22

Every promise of God comes with His personal guarantee.
