Settled

He drove out nations before them and allotted their lands to them as an inheritance; he settled the tribes of Israel in their homes.

Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor.

He changed wasteland into fresh pools of water, arid earth into springs of water, Brought in the hungry and settled them there; they moved in—what a great place to live! They sowed the fields, they planted vineyards, they reaped a bountiful harvest. He blessed them and they prospered greatly;

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! … Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ.

And since we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have the requests made of Him.

Psalm 78:55 Psalm 68:10 Psalm 107:33 Ephesians 1:3 1 John 5:15

With practice, anyone can master the art of thankfulness.
