With whom, then, will you compare God? To what image will you liken him?
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation
He (Jesus) is the sole expression of the glory of God and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power
Put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.
You have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

The Spirit develops in us the clear image of Christ.
