Peaceful

(photo: Maui)

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body

One handful of peaceful repose Is better than two fistfuls of worried work

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

Let him search for peace (harmony; undisturbed ness from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts) and seek it eagerly. [Do not merely desire peaceful relations with God, with your fellowmen, and with yourself, but pursue, go after them!]

Let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in His sight.

Proverbs 14:30 Ecclesiastes 4:6 Hebrews 12:11 1 Peter 3:11 1 Peter 3:4 2 Peter 3:14

No God, no peace; Know God, know peace.
