Recall

(photo: Front range, Colorado Springs,CO)

But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago (2006).

But this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation: It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not!

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

Psalm 77:11 Lamentations 3:21 Zephaniah 3:17 John 14:26 2 Peter 3:2

Think less of the power of things over you and more of the power of Christ in you.
