Lift

a WORD from God's Book

"If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!

Let's lift our hearts and hands at one and the same time, praying to God in heaven

Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You.

I assure you that you can say to this mountain, `May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart.

Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant].

Job 11:13 Lamentations 3:41 Psalm 24:7 Psalm 143:8 Mark 11:23 James 4:10

Peace

Bending down to lift up another is good exercise for the heart.
