Pleased

Then Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit and said, "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding the truth from those who think themselves so wise and clever, and for revealing it to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.

But then something happened! For it pleased God in his kindness to choose me and call me, even before I was born! What undeserved mercy!

For it has pleased God to tell his people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles (put your name here) too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory.

The LORD is more pleased when we do what is just and right than when we give him sacrifices.

May he be pleased by all these thoughts about him, for I rejoice in the LORD.
