Until the time came to fulfill his word, the LORD tested Joseph's character.

He guards the paths of justice and protects those who are faithful to him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair and you will know how to find the right course of action every time. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy.

Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.

But I keep right on praying to you, LORD, hoping this is the time you will show me favor. In your unfailing love, O God, answer my prayer with your sure salvation.
