We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you to live your lives in a way that God would consider worthy. For he called you into his Kingdom to share his glory.

[ Faith Under Pressure ] Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.

[ Patience in Suffering ] You must be patient as you wait for the Lord's return. Consider the farmers who eagerly look for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They patiently wait for the precious harvest to ripen.

I once thought all these things were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done.
