For we know that if the tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
This world is not our home; we are looking forward to our city in heaven, which is yet to come.
This "insider world" is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come.
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Pours

Plant what is right and good for yourselves. Gather the fruit of lasting love. Break up your ground that has not been plowed. For it is time to look for the Lord, until He comes and pours His saving power on you.
The rain pours down from the clouds, and everyone benefits from it.
Yes, the LORD pours down his blessings. Our land will yield its bountiful crops.
Through each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity.

Exceeds

Let them praise the name of GOD- it's the only Name worth praising. His radiance exceeds anything in earth and sky;
Her value (Wisdom / Holy Spirit) exceeds all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
But the witness that really confirms me far exceeds John's witness. It's the work the Father gave me to complete. These very tasks, as I go about completing them, confirm that the Father, in fact, sent me.
Indeed, in view of this fact, what once had splendor [the glory of the Law in the face of Moses] has come to have no splendor at all, because of the overwhelming glory that exceeds and excels it [the glory of the Gospel in the face of Jesus Christ].
For Thou hast made him most blessed for ever; Thou hast made him exceeding glad with Thy countenance.

Respect

Don't lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them, for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect. They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling.
Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have strong faith and be filled with love and patience.
Show respect for everyone. Love your Christian brothers and sisters.
Each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Since we respect our earthly fathers who disciplined us, should we not all the more cheerfully submit to the discipline of our heavenly Father and really live.

Compassionate

Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished;
When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
